Hello from sunny California!

Since the machinery of the Left in Colorado is working so hard to turn our Liberty-loving Colorado into California, we figure we ought to celebrate it!

From the gold-covered statue to the red carpet, it’s Awards Night at the Independence Institute. We’ll present the D’Evelyn Award to a lady who’s been putting up with me for over 15 years now, Cappy Shopneck, and the Vern Bickel Award for community activism to Laura Carno. And to top off our evening, our special “Californian of the Year” award goes to Senator Jerry Sonnenberg for colluding with Democrats to go around our Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights and raise taxes and debt without a vote of the people.
