On January 26, the Independence Institute joined 13 other local groups in co-sponsoring a first-time National School Choice Week rally at the Colorado State Capitol. The event drew hundreds of students and educational choice supporters, donned in yellow scarves.
Successful scholarship recipients, parents, teachers, and leading state legislators all spoke to the crowd from the Capitol’s west steps. Highlighting the event were the student singing and dancing performances.
