In celebration of this year’s National School Choice Week, the Independence Institute will be hosting a free, public screening of Miss Virginia on January 29 at 6PM. The movie tells the story of the school choice advocate Virginia Walden Ford, her efforts to secure better educational options for her son and others like him, and her role in the establishment of D.C.’s choice scholarship program.
Our event will take place at the Independence Institute at 727 E. 16th Ave. in Denver and will include a light dinner. If you wish to attend, please RSVP with firstname.lastname@example.org, and if you have any questions contact Pam Benigno at email@example.com. Please note that the Independence Institute’s event space does not have handicapped access.
As part of National School Choice Week, the screening will coincide with over 50,000 school choice events across all 50 states.
