Senior policy analyst Ben DeGrow appeared on the Sunday, August 29, episode of Denver’s 9News Your Show with host Chris Vanderveen and State Senator Rollie Heath (D-Boulder) to discuss the state of education funding. Senator Heath is the sponsor of Proposition 103, a ballot initiative designed to increase state income and sales tax rates for the stated purpose of adding more money to preschool-through-postsecondary education. “Colorado and the nation have been increasing per pupil funding for decades, up until the last couple of years, and now just presents an opportunity to allocate those resources more effectively,” DeGrow said.
