ABOUT THE TOUR
The Courage Classic is a fundraising bike tour for Children’s Hospital Colorado. Over the course of two days, II staff and friends will ride 118+ in the mountains surrounding Copper Mountain, Colorado. This year we have four staff members participating on our team, Team Parker! They are: team captain Tracy Kimball-Smith (II Creative Lab), Amy Oliver Cooke (Executive VP/Director of Energy & Environmental Policy), Damon Sasso (VP of Operations), and Todd Lubas (Director of Strategic Partnerships).
WHY WE RIDE
Team Parker rides in honor of Parker Caldara (pictured above), daughter of Independence Institute President, Jon Caldara. We ride to keep Parker’s memory alive and also to raise money for Children’s Hospital to help other parents and kids facing similar situations. Please consider making a donation in honor of Parker who lost her battle with cancer just shy of her 1st birthday.

Jon Caldara, has put out a FUNDRAISING CHALLENGE. If Team Parker can raise $20,000, he has agreed to pull on some spandex shorts and ride his bike over the hills with us. Seeing Jon Caldara in spandex is worth almost any amount of money, so please help us reach our $20,000 goal and make this happen.
