We are pleased to announce the winner of the FASTER March Raffle!

Sheri from Arvada – Ticket number W281

All the money raised in this Raffle goes to training scholarships for armed school staff in Colorado.

FASTER stands for Faculty/Administrator Safety Training and Emergency Response.

FASTER training enables teachers, administrators and other school employees to stop school violence quickly and administer medical aid immediately. FASTER is not intended as a replacement for Police and EMTs. Instead, it enables on-site personnel to save lives through prompt action.

We are a non-profit that raises money to deliver the necessary training at no or low cost to teachers, administrators and other school employee that have approval from their School’s District and or Board.

How we will choose participants:

You will be required to have a Colorado Concealed Handgun Permit. You may apply for FASTER before you get your CHP, but will need it before training.

Anyone prohibited from possessing a firearm will be disqualified.

You can register and/or pay securely on this page. We are looking for a wide range of people with various levels of experience. We will keep your answers and your identity confidential. We will not discuss your request with your school or school board, unless you specifically request us to do so.

Class Information

While FASTER training is focused on securing our schools, the training is also open to other participants such as church staff or selected CHP holders.

The 3-day FASTER training class tuition is $1,000 and includes a complete trauma kit for the participants to take back to their school, church or home. The 2-day FASTER Annual Re-Qualification class tuition is $600. Scholarships are available for school staff members, upon request.  We never want the lack of budget in a school or district to keep a school staff member from this life-saving training. Partial scholarships may be available to other participants.

If you are chosen to participate, you will attend an intensive 3-day or 2-day class where you will learn many of the same skills and tactics used by law enforcement. Your instructors will include professional law enforcement personnel with extensive knowledge of active shooter situations. You will leave this class physically and mentally exhausted, but those who have participated agree that it is a wonderful experience and life changing class.

  • If you would like to be considered for a future class that is not yet scheduled, please indicate that above.
  • 2. Contact Information (where you are able to personally receive information for the program)

Please provide complete information. (This will be kept confidential.)
  • If you answered "YES" to question #4, provide your staff position and school district here.
We ask this because specialized training is available.
