I keep finding myself asking the same question – what happened to the good liberals? You know, the ones that would constantly say the ends don’t justify the means, a person is innocent until proven guilty, and the process matters. There are no such liberals in Colorado state government.
Colorado is experiencing a violent lurch to the political left. And in angry, tip-over-cars and burn-the-newspaper-boxes style, the progressives in charge of our legislature won’t even fake respect for the process: Ramming through a crippling re-write of oil and gas regulations without allowing time for people to come to the capitol to testify, a “red flag” bill unlike any in the country where the accused must prove her innocence to get her guns back, and a national popular vote for president bill without a popular vote of the people – these legislators seem drunk with power.
Read my latest for the Denver Post on the arrogance of our new overlords. And tune in tonight to Devil’s Advocate at 8:30 on Colorado Public TV, Channel 12, as I talk it over with politicos Rodger Hudson and Miller Hudson.
And of course check in at CompleteColorado.com daily for all the day’s political news impacting your Colorado world. Drudge Report, eat your heart out.

Seeing the shocking and horrific news of the mass shooting in New Zealand only strengthens our call for trained armed staff in schools and houses of worship. Our FASTER program trains teachers to stop the threat of a shooter and stop the bleeding until help can arrive. It costs about $1,000 to train an armed teacher which is why we are raffling off a terrific gun package.
There are only two days left for you to purchase raffle tickets to win a $2,200 Glock 19 package. Instead of just arguing about how to stop mass shootings, we are doing something about it. The raffle is a great reason to be part of the solution. Buy a $25 ticket or two right now and help save a life.

You might not realize all nonprofit private schools—irrespective of educational model, creed, or religious belief—are entitled to “equitable services” under various federal programs through their local school districts. In other words, even though the state of Colorado might not offer much help to private schools, there are some federal programs parents and educators should know about.

We’re getting excited about our annual Founders’ Night Dinner coming up on Thursday, April 25. THE INTELLECTUAL DARK WEB (IDW). Ever heard of it? Your kids and grandkids probably have. It’s the hangout for the underground Free Speech resistance movement. Dave Rubin, proud member of the IDW, is the host of The Rubin Report, heralded for its politically incorrect and honest approach to discussing complex issues and current events. As a former host of The Young Turks, Dave has been demonized and shunned by his former co-hosts because of his ideological change from Progressive to Classical Liberal. He’ll be joining us to give the keynote on the 25th.
Time is running out to sponsor a table for Founders’ Night and have you or your organization featured in the evening. Click here or contact Shari Hanrahan at shari@i2i.org or 512/627-9831 today!
