Hailing from the great state of Pennsylvania (only 2^nd to the amazing state of Colorado), Michelle Knight joins Independence Institute with more than 8 years of fundraising and executive management experience.  Michelle has contributed to the fundraising efforts of many colleges and non-profits handling events, administering databases, managing donor relations – basically all of the fun things that no one wants to do.  A champion of liberty and personal responsibility, Michelle is a closet libertarian.  If her friends knew, she would be excommunicated from her circle (but deep down they know and put up with her anyway).

Michelle earned a BA in World History and is currently earning a MA in Strategic Leadership.  She has been married to her terrific husband, Brian, for over 10 years and they have a sweet daughter named Molly.  They enjoy being outdoors and travelling.
