Mike Krause is Editor-in-Chief of Complete Colorado.
He is a graduate of the University of Nebraska, and served on active duty in the United States Coast Guard from 1987-1991.
He originally came to Colorado to be a ski bum, but ended up with a full-time job in the Steamboat Springs ski-racing department. Mike previously earned his living swinging a hammer as a commercial construction carpenter, and was a senior fellow title-holder and editorial writer for the Independence Institute for several years before landing his full-time, paid think tank gig.
He lives in Edgewater.
