Successful Gun Play

Successful Gun Play

It’s been a little over two weeks since we hosted our annual ATF Party at the swank Kiowa Creek Sporting Club. Continuing with our tradition, we brought together shooters from all over the state (with a handful of out-of-staters mixed in too) to celebrate the perks of adulthood together!

We had expert shooters, first-time shooters, first-time drinkers, and proud black-out drunks (well, just Dave Kopel), and many who just came to enjoy a party with fellow freedom-lovers.

After shooting the course, guests heard from Dave Kopel and Laura Carno, followed by a chat with keynote speaker Ross Kaminsky over lunch and booze, and of course fine cigars compliments of our friends at Smoker Friendly.

We wrapped up the festivities with awards for the day’s best (and worst) shooters, including our famed “tiara of shame” for the worst.

I want to give a shout out to one of the event’s sponsors, Bullets Both Ways. Their brand and apparel line was specifically created as a resource to promote, organize, and support enhanced protection and defense measures in schools, places of worship, and communities. Every purchase of their protection-inspiring apparel, merchandise, and service offerings helps sponsor medical and firearm training scholarships for school and worship center staff, including Independence Institute’s FASTER Colorado.

We are immensely grateful for their support and the continued support from all of our 2021 sponsors.

Thanks again to everyone for another great ATF Party! We’ll see you next year!

Think Freedom,

-Jon
