Mary Goodley is the Development Outreach Manager for the Independence Institute. She is an almost Colorado native who grew up in Greenwood Village. Rescued from the “great” state of California at age 7, she owes her parents an incredible debt for moving her here. She joins the Independence Institute from the Denver Museum of Nature & Science where she learned the ropes about fundraising. She has experience with grants, planned giving, donor relations, events, and stewardship.

Mary earned her BA in Communications and minor in Economics from the University of Colorado Denver. She and her husband eloped during the COVID lockdown and recently the couple welcomed their first child. They enjoy hiking, live music, and spending time with family.
