Our speaker this year is Weld County Sheriff Steve Reams.
Enjoy the party pavilion at Kiowa Creek and help us joyfully thumb our nose at the nanny-state. We’ve been hosting the party since 2002 to protect your right to have fun. While not everyone who attends actually shoots our PETA-friendly clay pigeons, drinks, or smokes, they value the individual right to do so; they value the freedom our Founding Fathers afforded us; and they value the mission of the Independence Institute. The event includes:
- PETA-friendly clay pigeons
- Lunch
- Libations and cigars with II favorites such as Jon Caldara and hero to the Second Amendment David Kopel
- 12 shotguns are available to rent, call Kiowa Creek Sporting Club at 303.644.4627 to reserve one for the day of the event
7:30 am – Gather/Continental Breakfast
8:15 am – Safety Instruction
8:30 am – Shotgun Start
11:30 am – Lunch, Cocktails and Cigars
