“Mine was not an Enlightened mind, I now was aware: it was a Gothic mind, medieval in its temper and structure. I did not love cold harmony and perfect regularity of organization; what I sought was variety, mystery, tradition, the venerable, the awful. I despised sophisters and calculators; I was groping for faith, honor, and prescriptive loyalties. I would have given any number of neo-classical pediments for one poor battered gargoyle.” – Russell Kirk

“People have fallen into a foolish habit of speaking of Orthodoxy as something heavy, humdrum, and safe. There never was anything so perilous or so exciting as Orthodoxy. It was sanity: and to be sane is more dramatic than to be mad.” -G.K. Chesterton

“Someone once said that politics is little more than systematic organization of hostilities.” -Grand Moff Tarkin

Josh has sailed around the world (literally) during his Semester at Sea Study Abroad program, during which he sailed across the Equator twice, becoming an Emerald Shellback when he crossed the Equator and the Prime Meridian at the same time.

Josh Williams graduated Omicron Delta Epsilon from Colorado State University in May of 2018 with a B.A. in Political Science and Economics.

Josh is an Eagle Scout, and earned his Brotherhood in The Order of the Arrow, Scouting’s Honor Society.

When he went off to College, Josh became a career (student) politician, serving for 4 years in ASCSU, Colorado State University’s student government, including serving as the very first Multi-Faith and Belief Senator.

He also became an officer in the College Republicans and was active in Turning Point USA.

While in College, he traveled to over 15 countries on volunteer and study abroad trips.

Josh loves Star Wars to the point of obsession, a fact that you cannot escape if you ever visit his office. He is a Colorado Native and can be found out fishing, hiking, biking, reading, or napping when not on the job.
